Alaska Trip Glacier Bay National Park
These are pictures we took of ice calving off of Margerie Glacier. What an event to witness, both hearing it happen and seeing it. This is a ton of ice falling at a single event and yet due to its scale it seems so little. Ask the birds nearby and they may advise otherwise. And you don't see people in Kayaks anywhere near either. In some of these pictures you can see the chunks of ice as they are falling but you have to look carefully.
